    Getting Under the Hood of Some of Today’s Most Established Pricing Tools - Without the Sales Pitch

    As professional property managers we are always looking for ways to improve and grow our companies. Revenue Management is a relatively new (formal) discipline for STR/VR and the tools available to us have been rapidly developing alongside us. There are so many pricing automation tools on the market now that are unveiling new and improved functionalities every day, that it’s often difficult to keep them all straight, especially if we’re actively shopping.

    The purpose of this session is to better understand the similarities, differences, and truly unique functionalities of four of the biggest names in pricing automation. Sarah Franzen (Natural Retreats) and Emily Patillo (Highgate) will be speaking with the leaders of Beyond (Julie Brinkman, CEO), PriceLabs (Anurag Verma, Co-Founder), Rented (Andrew McConnell, CEO), and Wheelhouse (Andrew Kitchell, CEO & Founder) in this fast-paced session, asking them to take off their sales hats and get vulnerable with us about what their companies are doing (and not doing), what their pricing solution offers (and doesn’t offer), the customers they consider their best fit, and what they appreciate about their competitors on the stage.

    The panelists will offer a conversational high-level SWOT analysis of their own company and answer rapid fire questions about their tech, algorithms, onboarding process, customer service, and more. Due to the fast-paced nature of the session and to prevent it from becoming sales-pitchy, attendees will be encouraged to reach out to the companies on stage for greater context and nuance.
